Bali is Asia’s tourist paradise that everyone wants to visit at least once. The reason Bali has remained one of the world’s top destinations for decades is that, from white sand beaches to vibrant nightlife, this tropical paradise always has something to attract every tourist.

ACE Team already arrived in Bali at the end of August, Bali really is picturesque. We were absolutely amazed by the gorgeous view of this city, with its vibrant colors and antique scenery, and we were also excited to be guests at Coinfest Asia 2022— An insight & networking festival to share opportunities around Web3, Crypto, Blockchain, NFT & Metaverse. Coinfest Asia 2022 brought together regulators, industry leaders, developer communities and entrepreneurs to share global insights and regional opportunities.

Besides that Coinfest Asia boasted over 20 side events held across 15 different venues that started in the evenings and lasted until the midnight over the entire week, ACE team members had a good chance to attend to a series of very meaningful events and talk to a thousand of amazing people. Bali vibe makes the bump-networking become so natural and easy to make many new connections here.

Ace Beaker Works hard – Plays hard

After working hard and fulfilling our mission well, we’ve rewarded ourselves with relaxing moments by enjoying our time at many impressive places and views in Bali.

The thing that drives visitors from all over the world to come to Bali is to experience the uniqueness of culture and religious beauty hidden behind the majestic architecture, such as the Pura Luhur Lempuyang temple.

Lempuyang Temple – “Bali’s Gate of Heaven”

In the east of Bali, there stands a magnificent gate that has become a popular place among tourists all over the world thanks to the view and atmosphere it provides. Aligned perfectly across the mighty Mount Agung from afar, the place that has been known widely as the Gate of Heaven can be found within Lempuyang Temple.

This temple is not only famous for its splendor, but is also well known as the most sacred in Bali. Lempuyang is one of the island’s nine directional temples with the function of protecting Bali and the Balinese from evil spirits. It is also one of the six temples that are dedicated to the supreme God, Sang Hyang Widi Wasa. The six are the great temples of the world, also called sad Kahyangan. The soothing surroundings and the picturesque Gate of Heaven, combined with the breezy atmosphere of the hilly area, have made the temple a favorite destination worth a visit during your stay on the Island of Gods.It was such a lovely experience. Truely a memory to hold close to our hearts. When arrived at Lempuyang Temple, they provided a shuttle bus to take us up to the slope of Mount Lempuyang at 1,175 meters above sea level. No more AC, the mountain air is already very fresh and cool, we seem to be immersed in the majestic natural scenery of the mountains.

As we all know, Lempuyang Temple is one of the most sacred places, so when visiting the temple, we must dress dignifiedly, so most of us wear “Sarong” before going inside the temple. That was an interesting point during our tour; wearing “Sarong” not only made us look more dignified, but also showed the uniqueness of Indonesian culture and religion.

Rafting Ayung River

If the mystery and ancientness of Lempuyang Temple brings a sense of relaxation and peace when experiencing Bali, there is also an extremely interesting activity in Bali that leaves many memories that is Rafting on the Ayung River. – D’tukad.

The trip to Bali wouldn’t be complete without trying out rafting on the Ayung River, one of the most popular activities in Bali.

We tried out whitewater rafting on the Ayung River with a guide while soaking up the gorgeous surroundings. Changed into rafting clothes and equipment and set off on our exhilarating adventure. Then started our rafting adventure on the Ayung River, the longest river on the island of Bali. Experience the natural scenery, wildlife, and exotic plants of Bali along the way. Recharged with a delicious meal by stopping at a traditional “wantilan” (Balinese pavilion), which is set in the middle of green rice fields overlooking the breathtaking Abang mountain. The guides gave us an insight into the river ecology and amazed us with their dexterity and skills on this classic adventure tour. Discovered hidden waterfalls, swam in the pristine water, and felt the thrills of the paradise river.

This boat trip lasted 2 hours, enough for us to feel the water and the beautiful surroundings before paddling to the end of the stream. We all experienced various feelings all day long; sometimes excited, taking a deep breath when the boat passed the reefs, having fun fighting with other boats, relaxing under the cool water, and a bit tired with 400 stairs down and 400 stairs back out.

After our nature hike, we were treated to a buffet in a restaurant; the food was simple but truly delicious, and when combined with the view of the Ayung Valley, it made for an enjoyable experience.

When we got back to Seminyak, it was time to end our trip and say good bye to Bali. Thanks to Coinfest Asia for giving us a chance to visit this gorgeous place. We were immensely humbled by the local community in Bali, the blockchain and crypto enthusiasts, evangelists, industry leaders, and builders that are living here.  We not only have more friends, more connections from all over the world as a result of the trip, but ACE team also has the best memories together. We really enjoyed the Bali vibe.
